Everything You Need to Know
To start a 3D printing project, we usually need a 3D model file. The most common file types are STL, 3MF, STEP, and OBJ. Craft My Prototype makes this process easy! Simply upload a file, receive an instant quote, choose what filament and printer combination you would like and we will process the order ASAP.
We offer PLA, PETG, ABS, TPU, White/Clear resin, and other specialty materials upon request.
We provide free shipping on orders over $49. We are one of the only companies to do this! Your print will ship as soon as it is done printing and a tracking number will be attached to your order. You can either get this via email or under "Active Orders" in your dashboard.
Unfortunately, Craft My Prototype does not design models. There are plenty of freelance 3d model designers (fiverr.com) . Please feel free to come back when you have a 3d model file.
Supports are temporary structures used when a part has overhangs, bridges, or complex shapes that cannot print in mid-air. They make otherwise impossible shapes, possible to print. After printing, supports are removed, but they may leave small marks on the surface.
