Refund & Returns Policy

How returns, refunds and exchanges work — 30 days on eligible items, in plain English.

Overview

Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.

Custom and made-to-order 3D prints are produced specifically for you and follow our Terms of Service (generally non-refundable except where we made an error). The policy below applies to eligible stock items.

Return eligibility

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it, in its original packaging. We require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Non-returnable items

Some items can’t be returned, including:

  • Custom or personalized prints made to your specification
  • Gift cards and downloadable digital files
  • Any item not in its original condition, damaged, or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item returned more than 30 days after delivery

Partial refunds

Partial refunds may be granted, at our discretion, for items with obvious signs of use or items not in their original condition for reasons not due to our error.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll email you to confirm we’ve received it and let you know whether your refund is approved. If approved, your refund is processed to your original payment method within a few business days.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again, then contact your credit card company — it may take some time before the refund is officially posted. Next, contact your bank; there is often some processing time before a refund posts. If you’ve done all of this and still haven’t received your refund, email us at support@craftmyprototype.com.

Sale items

Only regular-priced items can be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they’re defective or damaged. If you need to exchange an item for the same one, email us at support@craftmyprototype.com.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return once the returned item is received. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we’ll send the refund to the gift giver.

Shipping returns

To return your product, mail it to: Seymour, TN. You are responsible for paying your own return shipping costs. Shipping costs are non-refundable; if you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping is deducted from it.

Depending on where you live, exchange delivery times may vary. For more expensive items, consider a trackable shipping service or shipping insurance — we can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.
